Our Roots

The idea of living gently on a few acres has incubated in our dreams since the early 1980’s.  Along our journey, we educated ourselves and practiced skills that would bring us closer to the life we envisioned.

Harvest Moon Natural Goods began with the production of herbal egg dye kits from our kitchen table in 1994 on Long Island, New York. At that time, I taught workshops on many herbal and cooking topics.  Our dream was to one day own a farm where we could grow our herbs and facilitate workshops. We moved to the Chicago areas where we put up a greenhouse in the back of our suburban home.  For 4 years we sold organic herbs at local farmer’s markets.  In 2004 we moved to a small farm in near Utica, WI where we are pursuing our dream.  We thank you for your support in this creation as we take a leap of faith.

To provide knowledge on how to grow, use, and enjoy plants in both a practical and a meditative ways.

To create a peaceful, beautiful, and safe atmosphere providing a refuge to look within.

To expand awareness through workshops, events, and personal interactions of ways to allow energy to flow through us for healing, creating, and awakening.

To practice conscience living providing time for personal growth, laughter, and celebrating life within community.

Harvest Moon Herb Farm is a place of peace, healing, and wholeness.  People who participate in this farm, both as creators and visitors will discover connection here.  We connect with our source on a physical level as we commune with the beautiful mother earth and all the abundant wonders provided.  We are stewards of our home planet. 

We connect with our source on an emotional level as we release that which holds us back from experiencing the joy and love of life.  We live from the heart and celebrate our creativity.

We connect with our source on an intelligent plane through our growth of knowledge and love of learning. 

We connect on a spiritual level in our own individual ways as we celebrate the higher source of all that is good.  We allow this source to flow through us here in the place of conscience living, aware of the beauty that we can manifest.
